The originals, anyway. It's getting ridiculous nowadays.

^ Agreed. Never had a Gameboy myself, but played it a lot on emulators and such. The link with Pokemon Stadium is very nice too

I thought the origional "red" and "blue" versions on gameboy were one of the best games made for it. Those are the only ones I've ever played though. But I did like those 2. In fact, I think thats probably about the only game I ever played much on gameboy... I had a few other games, but none of them were games you could really play for very long before getting really bored.

I remember I lent a kid one of my Pokemon games while at camp... I told him he could play, but please do not save over my file. The fucker saved over my file.

I had no friends who were really into the game save for one, and he was not around a lot. I had both copies of the game and two gameboys, so I just got all the Pokemon unique to one game and traded them to myself for the other game. Repeat.

I also remember all of the hacks in the game, like the Rare Candy ones and stuff where you could get your Pokemon up to Level 255 (but if you leveled over that, you leveled back down to 0).

i thought lvl 100 was max? Even with the hax.

But pokemons lvled by training to lvl 100 were very much better than those hacked with the rarecandy to 100.
