No dice.

I'm in talks with Razer support. I just got this response. Lawls.

They asked if I could try it on another computer. In my orginal Email I informed them that it did it on 2 motherboards. So I told them:

-me
"Well... due to the fact the problem has persited through 2 motherboards... I'm gonna go with, yes, it does it on other computers. I'm on 32bit XP Pro SP3. When it orginally started locking up I did not have another mouse plugged into it. However, now, I do. I tried unplugging that mouse, problem still happens."

-them
Hello,

Please test it on another physical computer. The issue is most likely with the mouse, but we need to rule out all variables and just a different motherboard is not sufficient.

-me
I should probably inform you, that the old motherbaord I had it on... is my old computer. Different ram, cpu, motherboard, video card, harddrive, and powersupply. Same case though. But I highly doubt the case had anything to do with the functionality of the mouse. BTW, it is plugged directly into the motherboard USB ports, not the case ones. Same on the old one. So, to answer your question... yes, it does it on another "physical" computer.

I was under the impression that the motherboard controlled how the USB interacts with the software contained on the harddrive... I must be wrong though.

The case uses FSC (Feng Shui Computing) to determine how USB devices work. The motherboard actually sends data to the case for approval before anything else is done. To get proper "different computer" results, you need a different case in a different room. Everyone knows that. Razer knows it, at least.

I love it when tech support people are idiots. I wish I could get payed for being a dunce on the phone. Instead, I don't get payed and can be a dunce on the internet.

For sooth, for shame.
