New forum sections?

I know this is the FF site and so is about FF, but it would be nice if there was a technical sort of forum PC related and what not, not a whole load of new sections but one or two new ones. Theres alot of registered members here, and in my opinion it can get cluttered.

I don't know how other people feel but this is my main community site for TFC and FF, if people are still using catacombs and far2cool fair enough, just an idea

i already have 8 forum sections to keep tabs on...

expanding the off topic could be cool though.

I'd agree if is this was solely just a forum website and wasn't related to anything but it isn't. There are plenty of other places to visit regarding a certain topic, too many infact.

I agree with this simply for the fact that threads get pushed down in OT way too quickly. There are as many posts in OT as there are in GD and I&D combined. We do not need like a dozen specific forums, but if there is a trend of threads we ought to do something like find that trend and give it its own forum.

A good chunk of the topics are either about tech stuff or humor, so maybe adding a Technology Section and a Humor Section to the OTs would allow the threads to survive longer and develop into longer discussions.

Yeah, we could have

"Chat"

"Debates about complex subjects by uninformed trolls"

"Troll forum"

"USA is awesome forum"

"Darken_Hellspawn, Soundchaser, and STA_SirTiger's personal forum"

And the aforementioned members couldn't post in any other forums. That would be fun as shit.

Hell, ETF has a very small gaming community, but I still had to add alot of categories to my forums to keep everything in order.

But this is a community, it's about the people on the forums (or something :P), I vote for more forum sections to whore.

Too many forums dilute the fun

Too many forums you see with 495834958734958 forums each with 1 topic in, being the sticky.

This is fine.

If you wish for more subsections I think you do really need to get a life.

I only read a few threads and that's enough riveting fun for one visit.

Why would more forum sections make more posts to read?

This wouldn't be a problem if we actually had something FF related to talk about.
