Triple Buffering not working
I put this thread here because nobody visits the Tech section of Offtopic
If I recall correctly, triple buffering prevents the leaps from 30 to 60 fps. I force triple buffering by using D3D Overrider. However, it doesn't seem to work. I still get jumps from 30 to 60 fps. Rivatuner Direct Draw/Direct 3D Settings: VSync -> Synchronization with vertical retrace (AUTO) -> Prerender limit (2). D3D Overrider Settings: hl2.exe -> Enable LoadLibrary hooking (ON) -> Force triple buffering in DirectDraw/Direct3D8/Direct3D9/Direct3d10 (ON on all) -> Force VSync in DirectDraw/Direct3D8/Direct3D9/Direct3d10 (OFF on all) I disabled VSync ingame and I forced off VSync in the nVidia control panel. Triple buffering's still not working. Also, I enabled VSYNC again, but triple buffering's not working.
