I'm on dialup and I hate viewing the signatures, slows me down when im trying to browse multiple pages at the same time. But theres an option in Firefox where you can just have pics displayed from the originating web site only.

I believe its tools>options>web features

Works quite nicely.

When you go to view custom content such as map screenshots that others have created, you won't be able to see them. Not a good idea :P

Some people use signatures for other reasons. Xfire signatures are an easy way to meet new players and make friends with people who frequent the boards. If an image bothers you that bad, block it yourself.
