I've been listeing to some old and new music lately.

Top 4 in no particular order:
Enigma
E.S. Posthumus
Immediate Music
X-Ray Dog

I just recently started listening to Enigma again, haven't heard em in awhile; but god damn I love their music. An early 90s New-Age group if you don't remember or never heard of them.

posthumus are fun! Rock with a load of classical instuments and chorals chucked in. Very radical idea.

First heard about them when someone posted that pong game that uses plasma effects - it was the soundtrack.

Edit: Can anyone recommend some bands that have the rock and blues of Led Zeppelin? (I've got Robert Plant's recent solo work too so anything like that as well)
Or anything like Lost Prophets or InMe?

Also any pumping drum n bass (like Pendulum)

Rory Gallagher. If you buy CDs, I'd check out Live in Europe and Tattoo, those are my favourites. If you download, check out the songs Messin With the Kid, Bullfrog Blues, Cradle rock and Laundromat. I've got a few of his CDs, but I'm going to try to buy the rest. The only problem for me buying them is that they can take a long time to get here, the last 2 I bought took over 2 months.

I like some Italian artists nagual though you'll probably frown at these choices:

Piero Pelu,
Paolo Conte,
Matia Bazar,
Neffa,
Luna Pop,
and Tiziano Ferro

Mesc - Peter Gabriel is awesome!

qwertyuiop - thanks for your recommendation. Rory Gallagher is great I got the live CD like you said.

Not at all, well Luna Pop and Tiziano Ferro are a bit our national Backstreet Boys and Justin Timberlake but Piero Pelu and Paolo Conte are generally regarded as good music. Only heard about the two others though.

You got it close enough, the grammar can seem weird as it's a language mannerism / slang. Basically it means "Do you see now that we italians kick the world's ass ?" it sounds stupid but it's because of the nearly literal translation.
