First off, Cruor, that is the sexiest axe I have ever seen. Secondly, it's kind of late to be suggesting a pyro replacement, since the Dev Team has already procured a pyro model. Modelling is no small feat, and I wouldn't want to see all that work go to waste.
I don't agree that the pyro is a useless class; he's handy for base defence, and for neutralizing enemy defences, courtesy of the napalm 'nade. I guess a small improvement to one of his weapons could be justified to some extent, but replace the pyro? Never! EDIT: By the way, one of the "shock trooper's" suggested abilities is fire resistance; is that really necessary, since the pyro is both the only one with the power to set things alight, and the one who's to be replaced by the shock trooper? |

Oh, hadn't heard about that. I had no real issues with the model, but in the light of this news... Maybe the hair showing is a little odd? :P

In what way does this look like a serious suggestion: a shock trooper with rubber armour? The S&M version of FF, costumes provided by Ann Summers. |

1. The pyro stays, period. Get away from me with your rubber suit, you smell like stale sweat.
http://www.redmeat.com/redmeat/2005-08-16/index.html 2. The pyro needs to be bald and crazy like such; (flames don't like hair) 3. Instead of the dorky trenchcoat (it's not 1993 anymore guys) how about something like this, and the mask which is already shown on the pyro. |

i think classes need clear visual clues to recognize them. imho scout, sniper and demomen look enough alike to not add even more classes dressed with that kind of bland suits.
in other words, keep the trenchcoat. |

Perhaps having him look like this flametrooper:
This is a small model just incase you wonder. having a little snazzier but quite the same asbestis second layer of cloth could look damn cool if incorrperated nicely by say dr_nick in one of his concepts. |

I like the flame trooper idea.
It could easily be tweaked for ultimate badassery. A trenchcoat is cool, but I think that it seperates the class too much visualy. They should look simaler in ways other than color. Minor differences are important/good. The hat and shape of the sniper is a dead give away. The flat, white breast plate on the medic is another good seperation. The demoman has no primary visual features but he looks very different from the others. Plus the bomb on his chest helps a great deal. If it goes to a vote, I vote with Cruor here. |

so the scout and HWGuy are visually similar to the soldier in size? and the fact the medic is in a nearly all white attire?

im going with war peanut on the modern flame attire, that guy to the left looks badass. it wouldnt be a far cry from the tf 1.6 new model of the pyro if you kept the camo.

Because FF is to be the most realistic game ever, I'm sure they'll implement it. They've already given me, the sexy man, a beta. Damn it's fun... oooh, another naked picture of Def-OMG! *rips out his eyes*
