Seriously! The US really should back up Hosni Mubarak. Can we really risk letting radical political parties gain power in Egypt? What's gonna happen if Egypt becomes a religious state? Do we have to send troops to retake the all-important waterway?

Oh perhaps we just unleash Israel when the time comes...

Yea, those radical political parties in Egypt demanding that their Government stop imprisoning bloggers and political dissidents, and actually do something about the 60% unemployment rate in Egypt.

You're right, we should continue to support Mubarak.

In any case, we're supplying them with billions of dollars per year in support. They don't bow to the US, that goes away. And with it, any funding for weapons/etc.
