Outside the game, version 1 (for both blue and yellow) looks best

http://soldatcustomizations.clanserv...reenpipes1.gif For more realistic value. Others probably look so ugly.

Are they supposed to flash in-game? Cause they don't for me.

Did you dl the pack and not the .gifs Jester?
I was thinking the same thing about the seizures (rofl) Pipes Look 10X better than mine. Nice Job. *also* ive been lookin into the rocket flares too.. gettin pretty frustrated cuz nothing seems to work.. but i did manage to accidentally change my pyro flame and regular explosion colors.. which was quite a suprise in game. |

I downloaded the green flashing nades and it included the gif, all files were put in the correct folder, the nades ARE the correct skin in-game, but not flashing. Could this have to do with a video setting?
EDIT: Also I noticed the flashing green nade download only has pipe_yellow.vtf, not the .vmt, but it does have both vtf and vmt for green. |

hmm...
well i did notice when i made mine that the pipe_green.vmt was used for pipe_yellow.vtf and vice versa... weird you say? yes. try changing your pipe_green.vtf to pipe_yellow.vtf |

Just tried the flashing green with silver tips and it works fine in-game, I'm guessing its the missing pipe_yellow.vmt that's messing up the others.
Either way I'm not actually going to use these, just wanted to see if skins could be animated like that. The flashing actually kind of camouflages the nades |

I apologize for that - I guess I messed up the download file, or it didnt download right. Ill fix it right away.
[EDIT] I fixed it, and I apologize for that. [EDIT] BTW, you cant change the rocket flare just yet, all you can do is change the particle system (pyro flame, explosion). |

BTW, how could a brightly colored flashing object be more hidden than a normal bland static one? Just curious.

It gives a false image of movement and the yellow part of the flash is a little dark so it blends. You are constantly having to re-identify where the location of the pipes is as opposed to them just being bright green the whole time so you always know where they are.

Mybe you should try them; I think thats an opinion based on what you see in the .gif's. They stand out, and there's no "dark" to them, its a real bright model.
