(PC) Mount and Blade - $5

There's a sale on this awesome game until Monday. Pick it up now because while it is currently only single player, the expansion is due next month and will open up the multiplayer aspect of this awesome game. Demo is free, I think there's one on Steam, play to level 7 and try it. It's an awesome game.

Did I mention that this is an awesome game?

Its not an easy game, if you don't learn to play it. Its a sandbox type, very open ended, no way to win, only way to lose is if you die, which you don't, you just get captured and have to start over with what you have when you escape. And insanely fun because you get to run through on horseback and chop some fuckin assholes!

I got the game years ago - it really has come quite a long way. I wonder if my key will still be valid for when it goes multiplayer?

I remember they used to say they would never include multiplayer.

Once you get comfortable playing it, check out the www.taleworlds.com forums. You can modify the base game in so many ways that it virtually remakes it entirely. You have to learn to modify their source files, which isn't difficult, but completely worth it. Like I made it where I can bet more money on tournaments, the schools give prosperity in your villages once a month rather than just once, village elders will give me quests later even if I refuse, things like that. There are even some total conversions, some that add guns, some that make it high fantasy. Its cool shit.

So we gonna form a warparty when the expansion comes out? Go rape some bitches?
