Is the UK known for that sort of music or something?

Doesn't sound like it'd be mainstream no matter where you went.

I think some of it is that it's a lot easier to play a good O than D in FF. Even someone like me, who isn't terrible, but doesn't ever practice (beyond pubbing) can pull off similar concs occasionally. Combine that with the fact that for the most part a skill movie, when it comes down to it, is really just a series of flukes cut together makes it really hard to showcase actual concing skill. Many people can do it, they just can't consistently.

It was entertaining for me...perhaps this is the kind of demo video that's needed to show the game off.

It's also nice to see that the Goodfellas are equal opportunity killers....of other Goodfellas.

Flukes? You obviously haven't played these guys in pickups. Sometimes when I get home from work and am busy cooking/eating supper I'll log into their server when I notice a pickup is going, just to watch them.

They're quite entertaining to watch..sometimes better than watching the crap that's on TV lately, and believe me when they can perform the moves with 90%+ success rate, they're not flukes.

I have. Also you seem to have misunderstood me a bit. The best plays a movie, the ones that really make it good, tend to be 'flukes'. Yeah the player doesn't do them by accident, and they still take skill, but they are still flukey and aren't something you see everyday. In CS it might be something like shooting a wall when you hear someone coming and killing 4 people, and in FF it might be something like Hoopa's rocket shot in flagroom of SD2, or the double single shotgun kill in openfire. There really isn't an equivalent to this on offense; unless you do something like get a shotgun kill mid conc across the yard I guess.

I disagree. For one, in 5v5 you got 3 D vs 2 o... And otherwise, D has the inherent advantage of being close to their respawns, as well as having more firepower generally, and a sentry gun. D is about AIM and communication (keeping track of enemies) while offense is about aim, conc aim, and TIMING in general. (double concs, teamwork)

I think you can get the impression that my timing with double concs and concing out of bhops is not a fluke. I do it consistently and constantly. Also my reaction time when i get a flag or when i see a flag is very quick, hence the back to back runs on myth. That 2nd run, I only knew the flag was "near the ele" and what you saw was the result. Most people don't even know what "strafe jumping" is and cannot conc out of bhops consistently etc..

As for the music, yes, dubstep is originally from England, and electronic music is much bigger in Europe than it is in the US.

No, but getting in & out without having spam/ns wankering up those runs is where the element of luck comes in.

Hoop I really enjoyed that avi. Great shots in it. I personally grew into that kind of music from the avi. You got any band/musician names that I can look into?

These were clanstyle matches, the wankering doesn't really factor in.
