Anyone played it?

It's not really "AH! something just popped up in my face and I had to shoot it"-scary

It's more of a "mindfuck"-scary

That little girl is creepy...

The only parts of the game I liked where when it went into mindfuck mode, but it was only a slight mindfuck. You know, the sort of mindfuck you get when you play a game that messes with dimension and perception, but not as much.

Yeah, it was the way it was almost subtle that made is so damn scary.

I hated, and I mean HATED the "showdowns" with Fettel and the girl's mom. Fucking worthless.

The girl's mom? There was no mom involved as far as I could tell. But ya, I was creeped the fuck out by some of the parts.

I had to play this for a friend of mine who wimped out about 1/3 of the way through. I'm less affected by scary imagery than him, I suppose.

Ended up finishing it for him while he watched. Fighting was okay, didn't pay any attention to the story (although he did), scariness fairly ineffective.

My opinion of the game is so-so. Don't think I'd mind giving it another go and actually paying attention.

I liked it. The uneasiness it created reminded me of playing Doom2 at night with the lights off back when it was new.

i only played the demo, but it's hella fun. i like the bullet-time stuff, and the graphics are nice.
