Bhopping
Alright so I've been reading up on everything about bhopping and this is what I've understood so far: There will be a speed cap, but it wont slow you down if you hit it. I think that this is a good idea but I had one question regarding the whole thing.....
How is this going to work when people go into a bhop from a rocket jump or a conc? Would they be moving faster than the speed cap and get slowed down or will it be a fluid motion as it was before the old TFC fixed the bhop problem? |

...didn't someone ask that exact same question earlier?
... Is this the same thread? It showed up as new for me... ... I might be losing it. Here's hoping speed reductions are done smoothly. Edit: Creepy! When I hit submit, the line "I might be losing it" was highlighted!

From what I understand, you'll slow down to the max speed limit.
So if lets say medic max speed limit is 180%, and when he concs he goes like 400%, when he'll hit the ground he'll slow down to 180%. |

yeah if you want to try it, ns has a system like that, you could leap, which is kind of like a conc up to 300% and then start bhoping at 170%. it worked pretty well.
of course it's dead now heh |
