Images of nailguns!
I need a bit of help, im trying to find a good image of a nailgun showing the backside of it.
Nailguns like this: http://www.absolutehome.com/assets/i...er-7140-21.jpg Would be awesome if anyone has a good image or two of it or is maybe able to take a pic or two for me of their nailgun. The only thing it needs to have is a butt similar to that one, with the rounded square shape with 4 screw indentations, one in each corner. It would just help me alot if i had some better images of it as i need to model one. And no, this is not for FF so dont worry.

I don think it's all that important how you make the backside look Decs since pretty much every nailgun has a different design back there.
Only thing that seems to be universal is that they have a grate for the exhaust air pressure to leave, commonly placed on the back or on the side of the back. Which also means you'll have to make some kind of cool particle effect for the pressured air escaping as most nailguns vent clearly visable "air" in lack of a better word as you can clearly see in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=85LKRv4q3dU So on the one you've posted I'd say that black part on it would be this grate and it would looks something like this: Fan cover image so just wing it. *Edit* Ouch, never be a camera man on a do it yourself show. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ARsZvAAnmAY Last edited by o_cruor; 02-23-2007 at 02:21 PM. |
