Tutorial sites for noobs?
Hey guys I was wondering if anyone knows of some good hl2 mapping tutorials for noobies. I'm a concer and proly always will be and want to create conc maps for hl2 or port the old ones.

This site has made a quite large sum-up of most tutorials out there. I don't know if and how often it's updated but there are links to all other tutorial sites which they have gathered them from.

I was under the impression that the Source SDK came with a tutorial on every single aspect of it.
Shouldn't need to look any furhter than your SDK folder. |

PS: most of the tutorials on the above site are video tutorials and require a codec that can be found on the left side of the page or you can get the link in the readme file that comes with the video) |

The SDK doesn't really help you with anything other than setting up Hammer. The help files give you a basic run down of what the tools do but after that you are left to learn what the ents do.

yes the snarkpit is indeed awesome. The site hardly ever seems to work though unfortunately I havent been able to access it in 2 days, always says cannot find server.
