Correct me if I'm wrong but even the opponents in Half Life weren't that numb or dumb.

I don't like the way the people you pick up fight. They don't hold back until you initiate combat, they'll just take off and start shooting shit, regardless if its 20 muties with heavy weapons vs just you two. Even so, Charon is a badass with that uber combat shotgun of his.

I'm guessing it's a holdover from Oblivion's sneak attacks. Unfortunately, rifles are a little louder than daggers.

If you miss, though, everyone within like 100 feet is aware of the shot. They don't necessarily investigate, though.

One thing I just ran into that I did not like, was there were a few raiders across a river from me, one shooting at me had an assault rifle, and was hitting me pretty consistently. I couldn't hit him for shit though.

It really does have better color quality than my monitor and I've got a Samsung 21" thats the best one I've ever used.

Mine hasn't crashed yet. Did you apply the patch? I patched off the bat as I read there were crash issues and other problems where it sometimes would not let you continue your game with an improper close.

Yeah, I'm patched. I crash about... 5% of the time when I encounter a certain breed of robot. It's not the common kind, so I'm lucky in that regard.

Weird. My eye sight is degrading and my doctor told me that the reason is because I sit closer than I should to my monitor. Large televisions would be absolutely no different.

My wife is an eye doc, reading a lot on your monitor will fuck your vision though, which I bet you do work on it too.

Watching a screen itself doesn't harm your eyes (unless they've missed something), but if you keep doing this for the long term, it will mess up your ability to focus on distant objects. So yes, it does, indirectly, degrade your eyesight.

Very weak and unexpected too. The game ends way too abruptly. I'm playing it again because I missed alot of the side quests the first time through. I was planning on playing it as a bad guy this time but I just couldn't bring myself to destroy Megaton.. or help the slavers. Oh well, good Karma for the win I guess.

This game f rocks. Just got out of the vault. Felt bad -

killing the chick father that Nazi bag o shit overseer. So I went back and pick pocketed his ass and wasted the dude hitting her or supposedly hitting her. Played that scenario half dozen times trying to make her happy. Women..... Just got out of the vault. Cool world. Love it.
