First DirectX 11 Card availble for sale.
It's out.
So, I think I'm gonna hold of on replacing my 9600gt for a bit now. The price isn't as high as I would have expected (I figured it would be somewhere around 500 bucks). Since this is a 5870, i wonder how much a 5850 will be?

No thanks to $400 for a tiny increase in quality. People who go out and buy the 'latest and greatest' hardware are only deceiving themselves and wasting their money. The power of hardware increases 2fold in a years time, so it's pointless. Wait until they start putting out the budget Dx11 cards, if you even feel the need to upgrade to Dx11 (Which is nothing more than a fucking money maker. It's a way to keep video card companies tied to Microsoft. Hey guys, we release new Dx, you release new video card, we'll make a ton of money, yes?)

Maybe when these drop in price. My 9800 GTX+ might be acting up again (second card so far, I'm not a fan of xfx currently). It's hard to justify spending over $200 for a new GPU. A top-of-the-line card will drop to $200 after a month or two so you might as well wait it out. Magically, once a card hits $200 it stays that price for ever...
