What is everyones problem with the dev_2Fort or whatever its called? It looks just like the origional to me, except with better textures.

yeah that shit wasnt even supposed to be released. it was just a test map, a direct port of 2fort, so that they could test the dimensions and shit of shit.

Well, the maps I played the most on TFC were Well and 2fort closely followed by dustbowl. And yes, I do miss it in the game, haven't found any servers using the dev_ version, I'll keep an eye out and test it out because a Fortress game isn't a Fortress game w/o 2fort!^
I hope some of the custom maps return too! |

I like the TFC 2fort. You could add some tweaks to better it for FF without taking away from the classic parts we all like. I think the spawns should be privatized somehow so enemies can't nade/demo it so easily. Other than that it's a pretty complete map and has a lot of strategy. No reason to reinvent a good thing. I really like the ff version of well (although I am overplaying it on my server) and if they take the same approach to 2fort as they did with well I'm sure it will be fine.

If they keep the basic layout and structure of the map the same, I don't mind it being slightly different, just as long as it benefits gameplay (ff_well)

I like the small changes they did with well. I love the new well. But I also hope they (kinda) do the same to 2fort. Not as extreme as blis_2fort because that doesnt remind me of a "classic" 2fort experience (well does remind of of that 'classic' tfc experience, even though it's a little different.)

blis_2fort IMO is much better than the original 2fort in terms of looks: bright, flashy, futuristic textures. The structure of the map has been changed a tad too much tho IMO, but it's still a good map non-the-less. If the team makes something similar to this I sure as hell won't complain.
