TheC, for my assumption is "The Counter". Whatever deadlines they choose to put on there they do, I guess.

Can't really see a useful purpose for it though. Then again, not every site on the internet needs a purpose. i.e.

...and not all of them are valuable or even facinating, but some may find them quirky, unpredictable, or interesting enough to check out once in a while. Others you find may be prizes or other cherished items. Whatever the case, you never know what you will find on the internet. In the end it is just another information highway that is nothing to be scared about. Just as long as you eat cake.
