It is called the "beta forum" and its been mentioned here many times. Also, there is a wiki that will go public once the game is released. I think they have bug-squashing down to a science. It is something us non-betas should not be worrying about.

Just to let you guys know, applications will be judged solely on the application itself, and not your forum join date, or avatar logo, or the first letter of your name etc.

We are taking a range of people with a range of skills and PC configurations and yes, even perhaps a few who havent been following the mod at all (and who have never beta tested anything before).

well yea even tho i would like to say AW pick all followers of FF! lol thats not right and i actually think the way your team is doing it is the right way it just makes sense. i do care if i get in it or not, but overall the end result is an amazing game so taking a range or skills and specs is a great way to do it.

Yup, someone with not so much of a fanatical following will see flaws in the game that many of us might not see/overlook.

I was actually wondering what kind of diversity the selections would stem from. I'm glad to hear that there will be a combined effort from both experienced testers and those without said experience.

I've been following this mod since it's original announcement and just registered finally on the forums for the beta. It's nice to hear my recent join date won't determine whether or not I am selected.

On a happier note, I have 0 beta experiance.. How do the testers find bugs? Is it "Play and tell me if you find anything" or is it "tell us if spamming nail grenades causes problems"

It's true. Most of the time bugs crop up when we're just fucking around, not playing seriously. Someone will notice something and then, as Skanky so eloquently put it, we all start jerking each other off trying to recreate it.
