But we've got enough CTF maps.
Pixel, look up how to use TFC's goal system if you want someplace to start. You should be able to do anything that it allows and more in FF, so you can start getting ideas for new and awesome game types right away. |

Play with different themes, look closely at the main features such as doorways and supports and design them separately. This will help you with the workings of hammer and you would have most likely created a little theme for yourself; from here you can start blending in all of your ideas into your map.
Whatever you do, do not use the Carve tool for circular features :P You could also copy maps and redesign it with a different theme to further help you get used to Hammer. Don't release this map however :P |
