ff_mountain_escape
Ok, changing the theme a little bit on my escape map. Instead of being a alpine escape map, I'm changing it to to a mountain facility escape-ish thing. Easier to make that way.
Anyway, basic scenario is based somewhat on k_thegame. You're trapped in a mountain facility, have to escape, blah blah blah. Going to have turrets, crates, and maybe some cake. And of course something that EVERYONE hates. Ideas for various parts?

Make sure you have a theme... it is never any fun if you are just plopped into a middle of a map and have to get out. Put a little story into it.
Oh, and do not forget the gondola! There has to be a gondola.

dont make toxic lava or anything, make deep chasms you can fall down if you don't jump correctly
Be sure to have short-term goals like deactivating turrets, turning off security lasers, deactivating enemy spawns, etc. Good luck, I look forward to seeing how it turns out |

Dangerous water passages, labyrintic tunnel systems with traps and spooky sounds, avalanges, CAKE EATING ZOMBIES, movable props to get from one spot to the other, a passage with swaying walls on hinges, a rotating tunnel, random teleports (pick wrong and you wont get any cake), a slippery slope on the mountain side where you have to ski on your shoes in high speed ...
Can't wait for an Escape map to come out |

Oh jeeze, you're all so demanding :P. I may have frosty-cold water in the beginning. I'm starting to reconsider the scenario just a little bit, by having some background to the capturing thing.

How about one of them bridges everyone hates, the ones where beams break. Also maybe a kz type part with climbing since its a moutain.
