Looks so good because the photographer prolly used a lot of post-processing and what-not. I doubt it looks like that if you just rolled up in the station and took a look at it. Probably sucks for noise, too. Definitely different and cool, though.

Used the Stockholm subway system for more than 30 years and I can ashure you, it is not that glamorous. Sad thing is that many of the subway art work is not maintained and fixed once it got aged. I know one station Axelsberg, where all letters in the station name are individual sculptures. One letter was hanging in a chain which broke after a while, the poor letter fell down and fell against the wall. And that was the situation for as long as I can remember. Good thing is that that would never happen in an FF map .

p.s. Some of the soft displacement looking structures look like Insects Infestation.
