When your conced, your cross-hair basically disappears, and when you shoot, your cross-hair quickly flashes then fades out where you shot would have been

This is going to result in players using kill when lit on fire by a pyro or when infected. You should put some type of "finished off" frag for the enemy that dealt damage. TF2 has that working well. |

First off let me say kudos to you pimps for continuously working on this mod. I love FF. Now brown nosing aside- I will play the update to get a full opinion (unless you make me a beta tester) but heres my first thoughts on it:
1. I think you should lose a kill for suiciding. Thats a death. You should however NOT lose a kill for changing classes. 2. Love the soft clipping idea, there is nothing more annoying than having your conc primed with just enough time to make the doorway and running into people who are walking (slowly) in the way and missing your conc. I know I'm snooty scout but if you can't bhop walk on the side of the corridors please? 3. I dislike the idea of help w/concaim. To me some things are skills. That if you play and practice you can master. i.e. -trimping, concing, bhop, CONCAIM. I urge caution on making things too "noob friendly". Noobs will like them but people who spend time playing to get good dont. FOR EXAMPLE the elevators in rock2. used to take skill or sacrifice to get up there. 4. not sure how I feel about destroyable jumppads. Seems like that makes them kinda useless. I'll play first to really decide. How much health will they have? 5. Kind of despise the infection changing. It was already bad enough that walking over a medpack would cure it. I play medic often and while yes there are some meds that just run around w/medkit trying to infect (which is silly). I think the infection is very useful in certain areas i.e. - destroy main ramp hw. Infection should KILL PERIOD. or perhaps, keep the new infection timer but allow a death. So you can run to spawn or collect bags to outlast the infection timer. Please though, infecting doesn't come free to the medic. He's gotta get close through AC and rockets and IC and all the bs to touch ya first which quite often costs the medic his life. Seems a little unbalanced. 6. Not sure about HW push. Seems really bad for scouts. Want to see in action. 7. Warpath looks beautiful. Cant wait to play. still want to be a beta tester. or taster if necessary ;p m0f0 |

I kinda agree with everything Mofo said.
The suicide/death thing should be left alone, but new scoreboard should be implemented to reflect flag captures / fortress points / kills / deaths / assists / maybe heals. The HW overpressure + nerf'ed infection unbalances the medic, and I still think jumppads should be removed completely and teleporters reintroduced. Over and out.
