I'm guessing a crowbar, medpack, and a knife.

I'd rather see each class have a melee based on the class itself. Something like:
Scout - Crowbar Sniper - Small twig (I really don't know) Medic - Medpack Engineer - Spanner HW - Big club looking thing Demo - Not sure, maybe some pipebomb looking thing? Or crowbar Spy - Knife Pyro - Not sure either, maybe some kind of baseball bat? It has just always seemed cheaply done that the Scout, Sniper, HW, Demo, and Pyro all have crowbars, while the other classes have something unique. I don't really like my suggesitons other than seeing a HW swing a club at you instead of a little crowbar. I mean come on he carries that big gun at you and when he runs out of bullets he pulls out a little crowbar? It just doesn't really fit if you think about it. I don't mean for the objects they hold to do more damage, but to look more "fitting" to the person carrying it. |

Or maybe if the flamethrower model looks more like a hose he could hold it in an upright position and slap people with it? I don't know its really hard to come up with ideas that fit, which is probably why they all have crowbars in the first place.

The sniper needs to smack people around with his sniper rifle ;)
How about axes for, say, the HWGuy and Soldier? And maybe something new for the civilian? |

An alternative to the crowbar could be the shotgun/rifle/nailgun butt.

Same melee weapons as in TFC but...
Pyro could have a fireaxe which would be more powerful than the standard crowbar. Silly idea but could create some variation + beef pyro a bit, as pyro is the most useless class in TF, regardless of mod. EDIT Quote:

But a fireman puts out fires while a pyro starts them.

If you have ever played Hitman 2: Silent Assasin you would have definatly used the Fiber Wire. In my opinion this could be used as a new melee weapon for our spy maybe you have to be as close as you would normally be to injure, but it takes of say 50 health in one hit |
