Wrong version of hardware directx appears in video->advanced menu.

I recently bought a new graphics card ( Radeon X800 GTO , fully supports DX 9.0) and when Im checking the FF options, it shows that hardware dx level is 7.0, which was like that in my old video card, GeForce 4MX. Can I fix it somehow?

Have you installed Direct X 9.0c?

1. Right click on Fortress Forever in Steam
2. Properties
3. Set launch options
4. Add -dxlevel 90
5. Start game
6. Immediately quit
7. Remove -dxlevel 90 from launch options
8. Good to go

Yes. Very sexy, but I still do not like all that futuristic, simplistic theme :P. This is also a reason why I prefer dustbowl over other maps.

Remember to take the -dxlevel command out after the first go-around, or it'll reset your video options (most noticeably brightness and contrast).
