Lan Problems

I dont know if it is just me, but i cant play conc maps in the "create server". There are no Characters available to play. I enter the map, can auto assign, but there is no scout, medic... i just can overview the map. Its easier to finish the maps, but not fun lol X-)

Is this a general problem or is it my problem?

I downloaded the map pack from file front, and patch 1.11 too.

Dont know if the thread its in the right place. Is this a bug problem? If it is, sorry for the missing spot post.

What maps are you trying to play? The map pack should have all the files you need to play the maps, but it sounds like the base.lua doesn't have the correct class restrictions set up.

Are you running an actual lan server or a listen server from your own game files?

Also is it just conc maps or all maps?

I think its just the conc maps. it isnt a real Lan... Its just in my Pc. Tryed to make some conc maps for fun... just to practice concs, and that problem apeared. Example: Conc_adam has that problem. If you check it maybe its just my problem (i hope).

But since i have instaled the map pack and the 1.11 patch i am geting another problem. Betwen maps, i go out of FF like if i pressed the window button. Not much of a problem, cause i get imediatly in again.

Since the upgrate to FF v.2 i can t run FF offline .. it just enters the map and u can t join a class this hapens with all the maps!... only spec / can play demos

the update doesnt let you pick a class if you are missing the lua file

yep...I would say it is the .lua file, check your folder and make sure you have them all.

If not let me know which one's and I can try and get you them.

I had the same problems...
Make sure the mapname.lua is in the maps folder and not the includes folder.

Also can you give examples of maps you have tried..."every map" seems like a pretty far out scenario (not saying it's not true though) and I would like to check out those maps.

This happens when map makers don't release their LUA file when you download their map. You can play their map on their server, because it acts as a temporary LUA. So basically, you need to find a dl site for each map you have that is missing the LUA or bitch at the map makers for being too stingy and not releasing the LUA with the map bsp.

I didn't miss it circ...that's why I posted that.

Yes, I tried that. And by every map I mean, every map that was in my folder. All the defaults, the 2 or 3 skills maps, like adam2 and some other one... I think the only one that I could choose a class on was ofire and I hate that map. Plus its lan...

What do you have in that file...please list the name of each doc you have.
