Installed FF but i cant play? What gives??

Just installed. I opened it from the shortcut and from the programs menu and it opened steam for me but nothing else happened? I dont own any other steam games on this ID. I just used a demo to install it so maybe there is an issue im not aware of. Please help me guys i miss tfc!!

You need to buy at least 1 valve game to get the required SDK files I think.

The Demo does not have the source sdk base which is needed to run FF
You can buy hl2dm for around 5-10 bucks which includes the source sdk base

I got HL DM, Portal and a bunch of others. In another thread a mod told me it would work? Im not talking about just the demo that came out it was a bunch of them. How can i check if i got the SDK base?

yea i dont see it there. A list of servers but none of them are installed.

Click on the Tools tab, and check if you have it installed in steam

Im thinking since you said you dont own any other steam games on the ID you are trying to play on , that is your issue. try installing on your Steam Account that has your games on it
