Pure virtual function call
Has happened to me several times since the beginning of 2.4. Is there any known cause of this?

Yeah its the scoreboard deleting itself.
The code has been crashing in this little section for a very long time (possibly since 1.0), and for reasons unbeknown to us, now it's crashing more often. The code is like if a exists b = a but then it crashes because a doesnt exist, even though it's already checked that it does. trepid_jon spent a while trying to get to the bottom of this and pulled his hair out just like I have. I can fix it, but it would mean removing the ability to click on the scoreboard. (so you can't mute people or scroll down ) On the up side, orange box has a completely new scoreboard system so the bug will be gone there. (if we ever get it finished) |

Apparently those usually get caused by dangling pointers. But, it's not always caused by that. If it's already checking against a null value, it's probably of the more esoteric causes...
