Mouse issues.
I need to configure my mousetrap to cap the rat in my kitchen, what are they usually attracted to in terms of bait?

Yup, peanut butter works really well. Just use about a teaspoon on the bait part of the trap.

Those sticky pads are more fun. The mouse is usually still alive. Many a great thing can come of this. If you know someone with a pet snake they'll probably pay you some moneys for them and its fun to watch.

The way I look at it mice have been around forever. If animals are supposed to evolve mice should have figured out by now that entering a warm house that contains great food is a bad idea. Their fault not mine.

My x felt sorry for a poor mouse so she took him, still stuck to the trap, out to a field. There, she gently removed him from the trap.....
Well, gently removed him and 3 legs anyway. |

Dude. I swear that mouse thinks with Portals. The mouse is gone, haven't seen a turd anywhere in the house. After I shot it ... No blood splatter, nothing. Just disappeared.
It dodged sticky pads. Not a footprint on it. It avoided peanut buttered mousetraps. It ignored that noisemaker that messes with rats normally. It dodged a .22 round. It STOLE... YES PEOPLE, STOLE A MOUSETRAP. |
