It'd still be a cool aesthetic thing if it faded out as it approached that distance.

Yeah, but I had to make sure he did realize that the blip does, eventually, go away. 'Cuz apparently that's a difficult concept for a lot of people to grasp. It does not occur to them, EVEN AS THEY WATCH THE VIDEO, that the tag has a limited range. Despite the fact that, after the Sniper dies, he runs forward and the tag magically appears when the HWGuy enters its range. The video displays the fact quite plainly and they still seem to miss it. You can see why I'm so distrusting, yeah?

Its very fuckin useful in hunted, as we've realized. The prez has more health meaning he's harder to kill. With some speed tweaks we've been doing, it was a real challenge to kill him off sometimes. But if someone lived long enough to get a good tag on him, the rest would have a minute or so to get close enough to find him. Give the trepids their props, that map is pimp.

Its purple checkerboard now. Read the yellow llamas thread. Yellow teams have been removed from the game on direct request of DH. He said they seceded from the Union and want to go play ball by themselves. Maybe he didn't say that, but I made Defrag do it anyways.

He means the mod of hunted that had the green team in it - they were allied with the bodyguards and could only be Snipers.

the coolest hunted mod imo was the one at Dark Realm. red team is the assassin team, able to have snipers and one engy, yellow was the "squad leader", it was one sniper to protect the hunted, green are regula bodyguards but pyro is added to the playable classes, and, of course, blue is the man.

i just like setting snipers en fuego

AH! cityhunt (er some variation of that) was a hunted map that allowed the assassins to have snipes and spies and the bodyguards to have the regulars and spies too i believe. its what gave me an idea for a map a long as time ago, but i blow at mapping so the idea never got out. i might just draw up a layout and post it in the mapping section sometime soon to see if anyone wants to take it up...

Brandon, I would immagine that the green team will not have any snipers. From what I have heard thus far, there have not been any dramatic changes to the teams for that map (besides the yellow becoming purple checkord....that's really odd to me).
