Not really. I've had very little time to mess around with it, but it does work. I have a couple of working A500's, I could part with one fairly cheap if you are interested. I have almost every computer Commodore ever made(from the Vic-20 on up....I never did get any of the PET computers)...I'm only missing a C=128 D, and an Amiga 1200. Well, I guess you can add the Amiga 3000 to that....since I had one, and it's dead now.

No, I didn't kill it....the internal battery did.
Damage to the board was done before I found a solution to the problem. I actually revived C= units from the dead before....but I can't help MB damage.

hmmm, it's like hearing about the death of a third uncle twice removed from my father's side when i was just a baby; i never used netscape; used ie back in the 90s when i had aol dialup, then moved onto opera when i got dsl; and only recently tried out firefox
