Scoreboard resizing

All credit goes to watch for this:

Its a bit trial and errory but for anyone who wants to change the size of it right now, you can open resource\ui\ScoreBoard.res. Right at the bottom you should see "linespacing" under "PlayerList". Lower that, I set mine to 10 and can fit ~18 people on it

Then open resource\ClientScheme.res

Search for:
Quote:
"Scoreboard" // Column titles and player list
You have to lower the font for the resolution you use so it fits corrently within the linespace we just changed. I'm on 1024 x 768 which yres is 768, so I find the entry which my yres falls under and lower the "tall" property, like:
Quote:
"3"
{
"name" "FortressForever - HUD Font"
"tall" "12"
"weight" "0"
"antialias" "1"
"dropshadow" "1"
"yres" "768 1023"
}
Works a treat!

Eh, my only problem with the scoreboard is the thing you use to scroll is barely visible.

This is mainly so you can fit all players on one screen, without having to scroll.

If the scoreboard had teams side by side (like tf2) there wouldn't be a problem with scrolling.

Maybe, but this workaround does the job nicely.

I'd rather play a kickass game than have a perfect scoreboard. But that's just me.

I wish someone would write an easy tutorial for a lot of this. Some of its so easy and its the easy visual things some people want but have no idea they can do it. I'd write one but I don't have time and when I was finished it wouldn't make any sense.
