Crashing when switching weapons

I have no idea how these things are connected, but when I try to switch weapons as any class with my mousewheel the game crashes. Rebinding didn't help so I'm out of ideas on what to do.

How did you go about rebinding your keys? Through the keyboard options menu or actually typing "bind [key] [command]"?

You might first try typing "unbind mwheeldown/up" and restart your game and go back in and bind those keys to see if that works.

If that doesn't work, you may need to check your config file to make sure it's not read-only. If it is, that means every time you try to change something, it will always revert back when you exit and reopen the game again.

If not, then you're probably better off just resetting to default keys in the keyboard options.

okay, i fixed this by rebinding every single key manually.
