Then, work to the back toward the right. The rifle (which is actually a shotgun) should be in a cargo container at the back right. Jump onto it, run to the end, drop down, spin around, it's inside.

SPOILER: By the way, enjoy the Army warehouse area. It's a bug haven from what I've played. Missions don't complete because the game still thinks there are enemies in the area (if you help Freedom take out Duty members.) the Duty member — if you join them — will mention you taking out a sniper when you raid freedom, yet this same sniper ends up popping the job-assigner in the head if he walks into the open from the hut, leaving you unable to complete it. Last, I've noticed a general bug. If you shoot people in the face with a one-shot kill from a pistol, their friends won't react. I used this to gain temporary access to the freedom armory and grabbed some ammo, a grenade launcher, suit, and other goodies. Feeling cheap, I reverted back to initial save. I want to beat this game standard. :P

Anywho, Stalker SoC is already my favorite game, surpassing System Shock 2. Circ, have you played Clear Sky? Is it better than SoC? Are there as many bugs? Difficult? More frightening, etc?
so i get a better suit, and then the scientist will follow me?

I don't know. I think the scientist died for me, so.. I didn't meet any scientist. I just went about getting the rifle.

.. Currently building up the courage to venture into the lab.

You have to cross under the bridge first. Once you're on the other side, he follows your route. Try listening to his dialogue.

And if I remember correctly, the "suit" he mentions is your reward for helping him get back to Yantar, which is where that underpass eventually leads.

Actually I believe the suit will be yours once you help them collect more data.

Sorta not really. It's a prologue with better lighting effects and more bugs.

Where the hell is Ghost's prototype armor in Yantar? I go to the spot, stand right in the crosshairs, and there's no one or nothing there. Going lower or higher just tells me I'm on the wrong floor. D:

Isn't his armor inside the lab?

I remember finding it in a little room that could've passed for a jail cell. His body's there, plus a PDA with some interesting info.

SPOILER: Go beside the building, on the train platform where the bloodsucker occasionally bugs out and walks into the train oblivious to you. Look between the buildings, you'll notice a small building with a ladder on it. Take the ladder up, jump on the little metal piece, and onto the roof opposite of the radiated house. Then, get a running start and jump onto the radiated house roof. (Don't save in the house) .. Position yourself to land on the outside of the little pit (If you fall in, you get hit by the anomaly and become trapped) and drop in. Run around the little pit and up into the grassy area. Search the rooms and the SEVA suit is in the safe (must have completed family rifle quest). Then, run to the opposite end and exit.

I just completed X16. I didn't care for it. I ran through, ignoring the enemies that weren't necessarily in my way. Surprisingly, these labs are not as frightening as everyone makes them seem. Oh yeah, did I mention, the GP-37 fuckin' rapes face? :>

Did you get the suit though? Also, doesn't matter what comes out when you're packin' a GP-37. ;D
