Dev textures are great for when youre laying down your basic layout. When youre sizing it all.

When I map, I personally will use the dev textures on the basic geometry and layout. If I happen to stumble on or get an idea on detail work I typically texture it right away. If you looked at my many unfinished projects I start and do not go all the way with, I have quite the combo of dev textures with detailed bits.

Afterall, it doesnt have to be eye candy until your done with the layout completely and are down to the details and entities and such.

Texture wise i don't really care what you've done with the map so far...

However, I do think there needs to be a couple of changes made for this map. Imo the ramp is a horrible position to defend and would benefit from taking that huge pillar out of the middle. Also, the flagroom should have a bag in one of the corners for the engineer/HW.

That is all..

errr... ok

Just thought it would be easier than starting a new thread, wasn't meant to be for discussion publicly. More directed at the new mapper and possibly the original one (Wildfire) who both seem to be actively replying to this thread...

I stopped production of the remake on this around June because my graphics card began to die. I recently upgraded and plan on opening the map back up. I plan to completely redesign the yard area and/or insides. More on that at a later time.
