Circ, you know how you have that site? I think you should make a way where people can host all their images and write ups on their maps. But have to E-Mail / Submit everything so its organized or something. I dunno how to explain lol

You mean host a site where people can upload map descriptions and screenshots, which are then catalogued and organized?
I considered doing a site like that, but I don't feel like writing up a bunch of sloppy code to get it done right now. If anyone feels like writing one between now and when I finally get bored and do it myself, feel free. PHP and MySQL unless you're gonna host it yourself, in which case use whatever.

It's been FOREVER since I posted on this forum! I don't have any plans to touch mortality until Fortress Forever has a public release.

I will post my "hide_and_seek" map soon. It is called ff_portkarl_hns. there is also a command point, and a deathmatch version of this map (ff_portkarl_dm, ff_portkarl_cp) I will post pictures later today, and post them.
I also have a map called ff_nod_fort(working name) it is about 15% done. I will post pics later this week. |

Circ, if people would use it, you could install blog-like system that each user could update with screenshots and download links. I think Plone was one a friend of mine was trying to get me to use for our website. From what he explained to me, the users have a lot of control over their personal space, but seems a bit involved to set it up.

I had a long weekend, and fell asleep shortly after I posted the above, so I did not have the time to take the screenies.
The layout of the map is a city type. I will be changing the design, appearance, pretty much every thing except the building design. I will take screenshots after I gt home today and post them in its own thread. |

Just downloaded Nez's ff_tiger and Ginger's epicenter, both look damned good.
Wonder how hard it would be to convert epicenter to HL2DM, that would be such a fun map with 10 or so players. |

...it's already set up for HL2DM.
As for plone... hrm. I'll look over it some more, but I'm not sure it's what I'm after.
