squeek's Offbeat Server

So, I'm starting a server for atypical/strange/fun maps. The only map in the true rotation is a vote map, in which you play different minigames to pick the next map. The default timelimit on each map is 8 minutes. This is meant to move fast.

On rotation in the vote map right now:

These have some descriptions here. Or you might be able to find the origional thread. [AE] Clan DL/Misc Maps . Also I have to go through all our map files 1 by 1 because some ass cough0112/Ihmhicough wanted a forum restructure to make it simpler then when 417 did it it broke the forum link/association with alot of if not all the map files. I fixed the ones above.

Nice server

Though I see your using beta 2 of duckhunt. I got it up to beta 5 if you'd rather use the most up to date version. It sucks just as badly though

Updated first post with the current maplist. For whatever reason, bounce was crashing the server whenever I tried to switch to it. I'll be checking into it (it's probably my fault).

A couple suggestions....

1. make the vote map have the option to recycle the map choices!!! it gets annoying playing a map you don't want to play waiting for the map you DO want to play to show up.

2. add the maps; push, heavy_machinery, escape_base, bounce, basketball and a couple others... remove civibash!!!

Yeah I was thinking of having some sort of "reroll map list" option in the vote map.

I haven't had much time to do much for this server recently due to 2.4 + school, but hopefully I can work some more on it in the future.
