yes but do what is the TOTAL produced CO2 ? "asia inclunding china" is a lot of people.. and many people there are producing exactly 0 CO2 since a lot of the society is still rural and underdeveloped

Well given that CO2 is a hallmark of an "Industrialized" country you're not going to see Africa, Asia and much of South America even registering. Also, IVaquaL's point on this being per Capita is important as well. China's massive population in the face of accelerating Industrialization is deceptive if you base this on per capita solely. You also have the US grouped in with Canada, Mexico and Latin America. I suspect you'd see some change in color on that chart if you split those out and represented them on their own. It's not like there's a common regulatory framework amongst those four countries.

Asia with India and China might not seem like big polluters per capita, but China and India are the second and third largest emitters after the U.S. This is one reason why China says emissions should be measured per capita, so they could pride themselves on their low emissions.
