Calling evolution just a theory is like calling General Relativity just a theory.
Well actually, evolution has been observed. The theorizing is over how evolution takes places; Darwin suggested 'natural selection'. That's probably not the whole story just like general relativity doesn't explain everything to do with physics. There's room for improvement, refinement. Theories can be tested, proved wrong, and replaced with something that better explains the results. But to just casually throw aside the theories that best explain what happens around us because we'd rather believe in something that's inherently untestable? :/ |
