Hard to find a game

I haven't played in a couple years, and recently decided to redownload the game. I got on and there were two servers with people on them... both password protected. I love playing the game, just not by myself.

That's the pickup server. It shows up twice because of some fix we needed to get it to show up at all due to a bug keeping source mod servers from showing in the browser.

We still pub, but you have to know when to get on. Usually around 5oclock on to midnight or later. There's also one pub that doesn't show up. It's the Old timers server. The ip is 8.6.74.118:27015. If you open up your console and type /connect 8.6.74.118:27015 it will take you right there, after that it will show up in your history. Often during prime time if there's noone else on the other servers, there's a good handfull at OT.

Yeah and Moto's sexytime server usually fills up pretty quickly as well. Plus, that server has 150+ maps including skill maps so if you find yourself sitting in an empty server, just change to a skill map till people start showing up.

It usually just takes a matter of minutes for people to join.

Yes, one of the sad things about a community so small is that it can sometimes be hard to find games unless you have a good Steam friends list for FF/know when to get online. The good thing, however, is that for those who are willing to wait around for people to join time and time again and stick with such a small community are the ones that truly love the game.

Great game and great community. If your gaming times work with the peak FF times, you're in for a wonderful ride.
