QWTF and 2fort a plea for dimensions
It has been said before and I will say it again 2fort is too darn small for more than 10 players servers routinely play it at 10 a team so it would seem prudent to make the map a bit larger in it's dimensions in a similar regard to QWTF. Appart from the ceiling height on the first floor which is too low but you get the idea.

Yeah, I disagree.
1. It's a classic. 2. Yeah bigger 2fort has been tried on some mods. They didn't succeed. Coincidence? We'll never know... 3. Come on, really. It's 2fortttt. Change the theme. Change the lights. But they can never take....our dimensions!!! -Braveheart |

I won't change it to much. jolt 2fort public is still a huge blast.. still love to play it with all the chokepoints. Defrags update was a good change. I'd like to see his version in the FF release.

Yeah im not talking about a huge departure here just improving upon whats already there opposed to copying it completely. Simple things like making the height of doorways or the spiral higher or doorways more than 1 player wide at the top of the lift.
One of these days I may have a bash at making a map inspired by 2fort like I am doing with mach, I will be taking what I liked about it then building on it. |

The one player wide thing to the elevator is annoying. You try to conc from the flirst floor to find a hw blocking you.

I've never been able to stand 2fort but apparently it is very popular as it is, so I'm not sure it needs to be changed after all.

Meh hasn't 2fort changed every so slightly over all of the different iterations of Team Fortress? I bet the one in TFC looks very different from the original TF.

The scale is the biggest difference between them. The spiral in 2fort5r is really narrow for instance.
