he was taking your comment to the extreme. i think the classic maps should be done the way they r already, and if anyone want to make a realistic map or a surreal map, then they r free to do so

Basically it's much easier for a mapper to just put up a wall and then a sky brush than to build all kinds of stuff outside the map that doesn't affect gameplay. After the 5th time you play the map you don't notice that kind of thing anyway. It's very good for immersion on a single-player map, but multiplayer doesn't have a need for such eye candy.

yes, but my point wasnt that the maps should be surreal, it was that why are we concerning ourselves with "why ARENT the maps real" when it doesnt matter because the game itself isnt realistic.
Maybe I phrased it a little strange but I feel it was more of a random butthurt remark aimed at me cuz i didnt know who the "ELITE gogeta" was. boo hoo. |
