Well anyway.. almost all of my favourite television is American, mostly dramas, comedy but whatever really.

Well, it's sort of a probelm I have with the media in my country. I think our country is backwards in many natural ways. Like natural selection. The smarter people take their time to breed so they can be sure they'll raise a healthy child. The dummer people have unportected sex with anything they see and end up procreating retards like rabbits.

It's the majoirty of our country that enjoys big explosions, lots of screaming and yelling and people "breaking down" on TV. They don't care that it's set up because they probably don't know that it is. Sadly, this is the wave of the future for our country unless something changes quick.

(PS Watch the movie Idiocracy. It's meant as a comedy, but has great strength in the possibility of being true)

when you think about economic social and political problems a country has, you have to remember all countries have their own issues. i know our media sucks. many political analysts who have not been afraid to speak out have stated this. the media went from wanting to inform the public to wanting ratings.

everyone knows regardless what syndicate a TV channel is, ratings is the bottom line. but for a long time, news syndicates worried more about what they are reporting then what draws peoples attention.

Recent idiosyncrasies that the media has reported on:
Paris Hilton, Micheal Jackson, WWE Wrestler*, YouTube being sued, Lindsay Lohan; Celebrity Media in general, Scott Peterson, that lady with almost no brain function that George Bush wanted to write a bill for because the husband wanted to pull the plug.

most of these stories should stay either on ET, E!, MTV, Comedy Central, because they serve no purpose in the national eye of america.

National Broadcast companies such as CNN, FOXNEWS etc, should only report in significant news going on, that involves the united states, government, social problems, economic issues, etc.

*had merit because later it lead to the debate use of Steroids in athletes and how it has becomes almost become an epidemic usage.

also tell me that you never expierenced a moment when your watching news and you ask, WHY the FUCK are they reporting this garbage? im sure every country has this. at least almost every. at times, and not as severe as the USA
