I thought they were annoying too. Quake's i think?
Custom sounds most of the time don't work.
Nothing better than defaults i say.

Even though playing with the Quake sounds are cool, and they do actually suit TFC. It may sound weird at first but about one minute after you are completely used to it.

I suppose yes.
It changes the feel of the game to much for me. :/
I like to keep everything pretty much default.

Why? You'd be the only one to hear them. If you don't like the sounds you picked, replace them back.

Psst, Circ, he's talking about the sounds used in the AVI. It's kinda hard to replace those when they are encoded in the avi format.

My bad.

Yay, another TFC video to add to my bloated collection! I don't play TF anymore but I still get a tingle everytime I watch a good video

My missus has the Quake sounds and I do find them quite annoying. Though they are better than the Homer Simpson sounds she used to have

Nothing beats the original TFC medic call. Classic.

So are the effects on the rockets and gernades done in the video? Or is that some add on to TFC I have missed?

The bloom thing was really cool but it made some maps like dustbowl pretty hard to play.

But is dodgy to explain having a modified opengl.dll file (commonly linked to wallhacks) active in your tfc dir.
