What date will we be playing Fortress Forever?

Hi, only new to Fortress-Forever.
I played TFC, for years online. When can I play Forever Fortress online?

CS2 Source and HL2 DeathMatch are OK.
However, they do not compare to an original TFC server with; max players, playing for hours together, on a good map cycle.

Thx for any info.

A member of FF explaining the current status of FF would be most welcome.

Thx also, in advance, for correcting me on my questions, I have only recently returned to the UK.

Stevo we dont want to publish a release date for a couple of reasons:

1) we dont want to potentially give a false date and disappoint people.

2) we would rather release constant updates via our media page and forums, this creates a website and community that always has new things to discuss and makes the place a bit livelier(sp).

Fortress Forever is being released as a tripple pack with Duke Nukem Forever and Daikatana 2.

I will say, though:

1.) Don't quote me on that!
2.) It's more difficult to predict a release date with our team than it would be for a group of full time employees. It's a difficult (but doable) task to calculate/estimate the number of hours required to complete this modification... that doesn't help, though! With full time employees, you often know how much time each week they can spend on a task / project. We all have lives, full time jobs, or are students... so the time we can each allocate to FF varies week-to-week.
