Sig code authorized

After coming back after more than 18 months in the Mid-East, I am back stateside, and home for good. 16 years in the Corps, and good majority of it, I have been waiting for the follow-up to TFC. TF2 hasnt been released, and after reviewing most of the movies released about the follows up. Nothing has been released. SAD!
I would have atleast expected to have seen this mod, reach its gold date by now. Any follow up was the only reason I bought HL2, and afew mods like CSS & DODS. Just to fill the time until something glorious was released to follow in the BiG footsteps of TFC. NOTHING!

With all that being said, why is it, that dedicated fans and supporters of this mod do not have the choice to host sigs on the forums. As long as it isnt racial, sexiest, or generally offensive to the common person. Just wondering why this most common practice isnt allowed, after having many supporters within the forums itself.

Just wanted to start a poll to see, who else wants to have this option or if it can be turned on.. I know my options state it is turned on, but server side its not.
I am submitting application for beta-tester as well... This mod looks simply beautiful, and should be alot of fun when released to the masses.

Sigs we're enabled when the FF community originally started, but we're quickly removed. I believe the original reason why sigs we're disabled we're from abuse on requested size limitations and or multiple images for sigs? Don't expect them to make a come back any time soon; we've gone just about 2 years or so without them and we can continue to do so.

I doubt anyone has the energy to bother explaining why not to. But I don't want to see GAY graphics with a persons name on it cluttering the page. It's like GAY ads on web pages that you never look twice at and prefer they wasn't there. Quotes and text in sig space is pointlessly GAY enough.

An avatar and a custom user title plenty.

I know this has nothing to do with the thread, but dude, don't just throw apostrophes everywhere. The are an endangered species in forums, and by using them in incorrect places, they start dwindling the little pool that is left. "We're" is a contraction for "We are." Leave it as "were".
Back to the thread. I have no opinion on the matter.

If you REALLY want a graphical signature, you'll do it in ASCII art.

HOW BAD DO YOU WANT IT, MARINE?

Also, I assume by "host your own sigs" you mean "be able to link to images elsewhere." It's not a matter of hotlinking images not being allowed, it's a matter of no images being allowed in sigs at all.

Ever.

Everrrrrrr.

GAY!

FF wants us to create banners to show support, but we cant do the same with a sig...Iam assuming most people dont have the talent or skillz to make a descent sig. Guess if you cant see them here, you will see them sprayed over your mangled bodies in FF.

I used to be OK at making sigs, haven't done it in a while though.

http://s21.photobucket.com/albums/b259/Void182/

(note: My nick back then was void, as you can see.)

about the sigs, I voted yes. Mostly because I think sigs are cool.
You might say that If people have sigs you require to scroll more. But IMO if you are to lazy to scroll the mousewheel a little bit more then usual you need to get your ass to a gym. And the sigs don't even have to be big or something.. But I don't think that sigs will come, and if they come, there will be A LOT of people who are not following the rules, and therefore the mods whould take it away instantly.

With strict measurement requirements, and a "display a user's sig once per page" clause I'd have no problem with them at all, but that's not going to happen, and neither will image-laden signatures.
