The poke646-Team have released a second part for their SPHL1Mod.

The original was good. Why don't they make a hl2 version?

EDIT: I'm stuck. I went to the top of the low gravity room and jumped into the vent in the ceiling, but where now?

I got the original and finished it, it's awesome. Shotgun ftw though, map exploits galore

Going to have to finish the sequel now.

Make it lag terribly?

Also be sure to use the shotguns knockback to trick jump, i've done some cool map exploits using it to get over/onto things. You can also use the alien gun to a lesser extent, I charge up 5 cells and then jump. It hurts like hell but it gets you some reasonable air.

I understand that the marines in the first one shoot you because of their orders or whatnot but why do they attack you in the second one? How on earth would they know who you are and what you're doing on the spaceship? It doesn't make a lot of sense to shoot at me when i'm killing the aliens too....

Was it really more convincing in the first part ?

They tried to establish 4 devices to stop the Xen from teleporting in our world, but the aliens took over the city.Later the army got send in to finish the job.
They were clearly on your side. Why would they shoot at a human anyway.
The explanation was that they were to busy and nervous....

It's hard to come up with an original, believable story, which, per definition, has to include the fact that the whole world is trying to kill you.

Btw have you read the various books ? Like ... "Resonance Cascades - A compendium" or " Cooking with Xen fauna" and "Portals for dummies".
