I actualy didn't like Arthur C Clarke very much. After all the trouble Kubrik went through to keep 2001 an original creation Clarke went and capitalized as much as he could off of that story.
I mean, he is still a very talented writer, and way more talented than I'l lever be. But I feel that his impact on the Sci Fi genre is slightly lessend. I take back any malice that may have been in the tone of that statement. The man was an artist non the less, and there needs to be more like him. |

RIP Arthur. I loved the Mysterious World tv series. These many years later the stone balls of Peru still intrigue me.
