A few problems making maps

FYI: I'm working with the most recent version of FF

So I followed the tutorial at the top of the board, and I ran into a few problems:

1. There is no "ff" folder in my Fortress Forever folder.
2. In Hammer, there was no directory field for Mod directory or RMF directory.

So when I went to run Hammer, every brush or entity I created did not show up. At all.

Could someone clear this up for me?

ah yeah.... follow the steps more carefully, it says nothing about an ff directory

now I understand the confusion - The one I was looking at is a sticky thread and so thought that was the one you'd be looking at

yeah the one you linked is very old...use the sticky thread that elmo linked and you should be set. Also gl!
